H2: Are You Happy? Are You Disappointed? Are You Confused? Let's Break it Down (Actually, Let's Just Rage)
- Lords of the Fallen: 36% "Very Happy" (That's less than a third. Scary.) 23% "Mostly Happy" (Still only a quarter.)
- SAO Fractured Daydream: 3.8% "Looking Forward To This" (Yep, statistically insignificant. Good job, Sony.)
- Tomb Raider Remastered: 26.6% (Better than SAO, but still.)
- None of Them: 33.6% (The silent majority of despair. You are not alone.)
H2: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Essential Games for April 2026? (38 Votes of Pure Despair)
- Yes, very happy – 36 votes (9.5%) (That's like finding one good apple in a barrel full of maggots.)
- Yeah, mostly happy – 87 votes (23%) (Still only a quarter of you are barely satisfied.)
- Meh, they're okay – 93 votes (24.6%) (The "I guess this is better than nothing" vote.)
- Nah, they're disappointing – 70 votes (18.5%) (The majority speaks! Disappointment is the new normal.)
- No, it's a crap selection – 80 votes (21.2%) (The "I'm actively angry" vote. Welcome to the club.)
- I don't have PS Plus – 12 votes (3.2%) (The wise ones. We see you.)
H2: Which PS Plus Essential Game for April 2026 Are You Most Looking Forward To? (339 Votes of Bitter Anticipation)
- Lords of the Fallen – 111 votes (32.7%) (The lone survivor.)
- SAO Fractured Daydream – 13 votes (3.8%) (The ghost town.)
- Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered – 90 votes (26.6%) (The runner-up in a race with one other contender.)
- None of them – 114 votes (33.6%) (The largest group. You know who you are.)
- I don't have PS Plus – 11 votes (3.2%) (The observers.)
H2: Are You Happy? Are You Disappointed? Are You Confused? Let's Break it Down (Actually, Let's Just Rage)
H3: Lords of the Fallen: The Soulslike That Finally Stopped Sucking (Probably)
- The Good: After years of being the "meh" Soulslike, the 2023 reboot with updates might have turned a corner. People are calling it "probably the strongest Soulslike on the market." That's a high bar to clear, but if the reviews are this glowing, it might be worth a shot.
- The "But…": It was met with "somewhat mixed reviews" initially. Sony's track record on fixing games post-launch isn't always perfect. Plus, Soulslikes are a specific taste. Will the general public embrace it? We'll see.
H3: Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream: The Anime RPG That Will Make You Question Your Existence (and Your Console)
- The Grind: Prepare to lose weeks (if not months) of your life to an MMO-style hack-and-slash. Expect endless grinding, loot boxes that feel less rewarding than finding a real screw loose, and bosses that require coordinating with 40 other players. Fun times!
- The Anime Trap: If you're not already obsessed with SAO, this game won't magically convert you. Its "hyper anime characters" and "trope-ridden story" are, shall we say, not exactly pushing the medium forward. You'll either love the aesthetic or want to throw your controller through your monitor.
- The Online Angle: Raiding with gangs of other players sounds fun, assuming you can find enough people who haven't lost their minds yet. The "online play" feature is definitely highlighted, probably because it's one of the few things keeping this game from being a complete time sink.
H3: Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered: Sony's PS1 Nostalgia Bomb (With a Side of "Wait, What Happened?")
- The Nostalgia Factor: For gamers who grew up with PS1, this remaster is a literal trip down memory lane. The graphics look… better than you remember, in a blocky, charmingly primitive way.
- The Mangled Reality: Reports indicate that a recent update "mangled the game in various ways." Sony's track record with remasters isn't spotless. We're talking bugs, performance issues, and potentially breaking core gameplay. Amazing timing. Sony's PR team must be doing backflips right now.
- Should You Buy? If pure, unadulterated nostalgia for games that weren't perfectly optimized 25 years ago is your jam, and you have infinite patience for potential bugs, maybe. But don't expect a smooth experience. Hope springs eternal for a patch. Enable 2FA just in case you need to rage-quit online.
H2: PS Plus April 2026 Essential Lineup Poll: Gamers Are Screaming "NOPE!"
H3: The Numbers Don't Lie: A Generation of Gamers is Deeply Disappointed (With Science!)
- Let's do some simple math, people! Out of 378 votes on the main poll, 61.5% (233 votes) are anything from "Meh" to "No, it's a crap selection." That's a clear majority of disappointment. The "None of them" option got almost a third of the votes. The "Very Happy" and "Mostly Happy" votes barely scrape above 30%. That's a resounding "NOPE!" from the community.
H3: Looking Forward To What? Honestly? (We're With You)
- Seriously, which game are you actually excited about? Lords of the Fallen might be it for Soulslike fans, but it's a maybe. SAO Fractured Daydream? Good luck finding anyone. Tomb Raider Remastered is a nostalgic gamble with a potential side of bugs. The overwhelming sentiment is apathy or active dislike. Sony just sent a box full of games you don't want, and they're charging you for the privilege.

- No, it's a crap selection: 80 votes (21.2%) – The core of the disappointment. This is where most people land. Sony dropped the ball.
- I don't have PS Plus: 12 votes (3.2%) – The wise souls who avoided this train wreck. You get it.

Final Verdict:
H2: The Bottom Line: Sony Just Threw A PS Plus Essential Lineup So Bad, Gamers Are Crying for 2FA Protection
Listen up, Sony. You just dropped a PS Plus Essential lineup that makes gamers want to do two things simultaneously: throw their controllers through their monitors AND cry for 2FA protection. Lords of the Fallen might be salvageable for Soulslike masochists, but SAO Fractured Daydream? That's a grind-fest for the emotionally stunted and anime purists. Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered? More like "Tomb Raider 1-3: Mangled in Various Ways." The reviews were "mixed," the user poll screams "NOPE!" louder than a raid boss, and the numbers don't lie – most of you are disappointed.
This isn't just a bad selection; it's a catastrophic failure that makes you wonder if Sony's game design team is on a permanent coffee-fueled bender. Did they even look at the games before approving them? Or were they just hitting the "remaster" button and the "anime RPG" button on a random generator?
So, here's the deal: Lords of the Fallen might grow on you (or you might grow a tumor), SAO Fractured Daydream is a grind-fest for the emotionally stunted, and Tomb Raider Remastered is a nostalgia bomb with a side of potential bugs. You're going to spend your money (or not) and your time (or not), and you're probably going to be disappointed. Enable 2FA just in case your rage-quit online session triggers a system update.
H2: Actionable Tips (And Some Savage Sarcasm)
- Before You Buy/Sign Up: Check if the game actually works. Enable 2FA for your PSN account. Seriously. Do it now. It's less hassle than dealing with this lineup.
- If You Already Bought/Signed Up: Pray. Hope the Tomb Raider remaster gets fixed. Hope SAO isn't as soul-crushing as advertised. Hope Lords of the Fallen lives up to the hype.
- For Future PS Plus Lineups: Send Sony a strongly worded email. Boycott. Start a petition. Do whatever it takes to make sure next time they send something worth playing. Or just wait for Steam sales. Your wallet will thank you.
- In the Comments: Tell me which game made you rage-quit first, or if you're still trying to figure out why Sony thinks this is good. Vent your fury! Enable 2FA while you're at it.
Final Verdict: Sony just launched a PS Plus Essential lineup that makes you want to throw your controller through your monitor and cry for 2FA protection. It's a disaster. Enable 2FA, vent in the comments, and maybe, just maybe, next month Sony will remember how to pick good games. Or we'll all just play something else.
